Every Thursday, like clockwork, the "Thursday Volunteer Group" comes in. They are here week in and week out, dedicated to making St. John's a better place. It is so pleasant to have individuals come down on their own accord, spending their time making the world a better place. They have become good friends with each other through their shared desire to help those around them. They are some of the friendliest people you could ever meet, and I have really enjoyed spending my Thursdays with them! I'd also like to thank Gerri and Dotty for the improvements and comforts they added to the men's dining hall. Small touches like flowers and candles make a huge difference for the men that dine with us. Thank you Gerri, Dotty, Peter, Lin, John, Tony, Jerry and Phiil!
