Pioneered by our last director, the late Barbara Maran with help from Sister Jane. The Women’s and Children’s indoor dining facility is a converted section of the convent that allows women and children to eat in safety. Free from the frigid cold or the scorching heat, young children can enjoy breakfast and lunch in a safe environment. It was opened over 10 years ago and boasts a restaurant style service system. The women take a seat and then are waited on by our amazing volunteers. This section offers individual service and one-on-one interactions with staff and volunteers to provide a safe haven for families, women, and children, as well as the handicapped.
