A Special Day for Our Guests

Thanks to the generosity of our amazing volunteers and supporters we were able to do something special for this years Father’s Day! Early in the morning, on Saturday the 15th, Peter place an order for 200 bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches. We were worried we wouldn’t get them in time because it takes a while to make that many sandwiches. Luckily right at 8:15am with not a second to spare the sandwiches arrived! They smelled incredible and the guys in line were extremely excited to dig in. Everyone in the kitchen that day was extremely jealous! And even though it was Father’s Day, we made sure we purchased enough so no one would feel left out. Everyone was so grateful for the small gift, and it reminds everyone at the kitchen that a small gesture can make a huge difference.

That’s a lot of bacon, egg and cheeses!
