Labor Day Update and Lasagna!
It’s been a little while since our last update here at St. John’s but rest assured things are still going amazingly! Because of everyone’s great help, the last few weeks have been a breeze. School has officially begun in most places, so that means all our our university and high school students will be coming down again, which is exciting for everyone. It also means the holiday season is right around the corner! Busy time at St. John’s is upon us, and everyone here is ready for action! But with all that said, I want to thank Our Lady Mother of the Church for providing a wonderful meal for our guests, I could go on about it for a while, but a picture says a lot more doesn’t it?
Every three months on the first Saturday of the month we get this special treat, no one else makes lasagna, and I look forward to having a piece if there are any leftovers! If I’m lucky there are, and this time I got lucky. I don’t think I’m getting any better with the camera, I just think everything looked great that day. It was delicious! Just look at how good this looks!
I’m glad I was able to get a chance to pick up the camera and snap a few shots! I think a lot of them turned out pretty nice, and everyone as always had a good time. It’s nice to catch up with everyone, and I want to thank everyone for the wonderful conversation, amazing food, and the kind deed! Thanks everyone and we’ll see you soon! Keep your eyes posted, as we get deeper into the holiday season updates will be coming fast!
