Newmark School Provides Seedlings for the St. John's Garden!

Special thanks to Newmark School students Tyler, George and Zach in the SLE program planted and nurtured over 150 seedlings for St. John’s Soup Kitchen! The seedlings have been planted in our garden and will be used to make salads for the the guests of St. John’s. The students provided us with cucumbers, zucchini, tomatoes, peppers, kale and more. We are eagerly looking forward to our first harvest and we are looking forward to posting our first salad of the season using our very own vegetables! We’re very proud of this initiative and we’re very thankful to the Newmark School for continuing this tradition. Hopefully next year, they can resume the tradition of planting and nurturing the seedlings themselves. Until then, we’ll keep you posted! Thank you everyone!!
