Stir Fry Saturday!
In case you missed it, this past Saturday we had a wonderful vegetarian stir fry! Tofu, cabbage broccoli, mushrooms and baby corn rounded out the dish and was served alongside rice and vegetable lomein. Vegetable stir fry is an awesome addition to the St. John’s menu, and we really thank Evelyn for organizing the meal, coming all the way from Queens first thing in the morning to drop it off! It arrives freshly cooked, and all that’s left to do is serve and plate the meal. Of course, we always make the soup that’s part of our name sake. Without help though, it wouldn’t have gone so smoothly.
We want to extend a thanks to all those that came down and helped served, and also prepared chili for us to serve! Because the stir fry had already been served and prepared, we were able to freeze the chili and save it for a future day! I hope everyone had fun, and we look forward to the next time!
